Painting the Australian Iconic at Wollombi Cultural Centre
Date: 16 to 25 July 2010
Laguna artist Col Harrison is exhibiting his series of paintings of the Newcastle BHP Steelworks at the Wollombi Cultural Centre.
The series of six paintings will be part of a travelling exhibition through the Hunter in 2011. The first showing will be at Col & Jan Harrison's opening of their exhibition at the WCC.

'Until Now' - Janelle McCloy Exhibition at Wollombi Cultural Centre
Date: 3 to 11 July 2010
'Until Now' brings together her works on various subjects and uses various mediums - oil on canvas, acrylics on canvas and board, pastels on paper, charcoal on paper and different printing processes, including collagraphs and screen printing finished with acrylic paint.
Her subjects include portraits, landscapes and still life.
'Until Now' opens on Friday July 2 at 5:30pm, with drinks and finger food, at the WCC.

Fun with Fibre Exhibition at Wollombi Cultural Centre
Date: 12 to 20 June 2010
A special group of local women, including the well-known expert of Fibre Art, Marcia Hoipo, meet monthly to investigate and explore how fabric and fibres can be manipulated to create various items.
A selection of work produced by the group will be on display, with selected items for sale for two weekends, 12/13/14th June and 19/20th June, from 10am till 4pm, at the Wollombi Cultural Centre.

If you haven't yet seen this wonderful exhibition, now is your chance!
Inside Art has been extended to now finish on Sunday 2nd May. Opening on weekends, 10am to 4pm, at the Wollombi Cultural Centre.
In this sixth annual exhibition, bars are still no barrier to the imagination. Inmates from all walks of life and backgrounds have combined once again to bring together this much-anticipated annual exhibition for the Wollombi community, who has always shown them such encouragement.

Reflections - Harley Tait @ WCC

Reflections will feature waterscapes & landscapes of local areas using pure pigment oil on linen. Paintings range from small to very large and reasonable prices should attract much interest.

Where two arts meet - Sue Linton and Shane Lennard Exhibition @ WCC

Sue is an award-winning local artist who paints landscapes and animals in oil and pastel. Shane is a passionate photographer who specialises in landscapes, panoramic, macro, nature and flower photography.

An exhibition of aboriginal art by Peter Williams - This is Peter's 4th exhibition at the WCC and his works should be of great interest to Wollombi Valley residents as, for the first time, he has been given permission to paint some of the engravings and cave art of the Wollombi, using black and white acrilics on canvas.
Aprons with Attitude

The women of Wollombi Stitch n Bitch are at it again.
For the past few months, the women of Wollombi SnB have been busily creating, sewing & knitting for their new fundraising project Aprons with Attitude.producing some truly amazing Aprons!
Money raised is for the Wollombi Community Hall and Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue.
