PAINTINGS & MOSAICS by Kaye Lovie & Mary Francis

Opening at the WCC, 7th November at 4pm, for drinks & nibbles.

Kaye is very enthusiastic about presenting her new range of paintings this year. Her subject matter is Water, above and below, and represents a wide variety of paintings and styles from Sydney Harbour to fish just having fun. Her love and appreciation of the environment is demonstrated in a style that reflects the beauty of water and, surely, will be appreciated by many.

Mary works on three different types of mosaicing - Fine Art using small glass mosaic tiles (traditional), Landscape using slate, pebbles, shells and other natural organic materials and, finally, Bits & Pieces which is more a fun style of the art using broken china, bits and pieces from op shops, buttons and all sorts of things. She loves recycling peoples' cast off pieces and quite often someone recognizes a piece of Aunty's old vase in one of her works.

This exhibition, from 7th to 15th November, 10am-4pm, will be the third one Kaye Lovie and Mary have shared at the Fireshed Gallery in Wollombi.
