Flora & Fauna

Official opening Saturday 21st November at 6pm with drinks at the Wollombi Cultural Centre.

This promises to be an extraordinary exhibition celebrating nature with works in stone, ceramics, mosaics, painting and quilts by local artists Catherine Craig, Michelle Loadsman. Penny Walton, Juliet Ackery and Carolyn Peddie.

Exhibition dates: 21st to 29th November, 10am to 4pm.

Fiona Bateman's Summer Exhibition

Fiona invites you to join her on Friday evening, 4th December, at 6 o'clock, for drinks and nibbles.

Fiona, a well known local, with works in private and public collections, exhibits regularly at the WCC and her shows are always very successful.

This current exhibition is inspired by Fiona's response to the landscape and features large, colourful abstract or realistic oils, acrylics and mixed media. Her mixed media works are always a treat for the eyes... composed of acrylic, impasto, wax, oil/pastel crayon and sand. She will also have smaller works for sale for those of us who have no more room on our walls.

Exhibition runs from Saturday 5th December to Sunday 13th, weekends,10am to 4pm.

Both Flora & Fauna and Fiona's show are a wonderful opportunity for us to purchase those tricky XMAS presents.
