Old Fireshed Gallery

The Old Fireshed Gallery was converted into a much-needed gallery in 2003, when the Rural Fire Service moved to their new fireshed. Since then it has been a popular and successful exhibition space for local artists, and some from further afield. A new exhibition is held every month. It is an artist - run venue, with the WVAC only requiring 10% of gross sales, and hence very popular.

Our current exhibition….

"The tree of life holds profound spiritual significance across various cultures and belief systems, symbolising connection, growth and the cyclical nature of existence. The tree is rooted deeply in the earth, its branches reaching towards the skies, it embodies balance and harmony between the material and spiritual realms.”

‘Tree of Life’ Acrylic on canvas'

“I am inspired by trees and the reverence they hold in the real and spiritual worlds. They invite individuals to embrace their connection to nature, find harmony within themselves and to seek spiritual enlightenment through communion with the natural world.”

‘Jacaranda at Dusk’ Acrylic on board

“This exhibition presents a selection of differing interpretations of trees and explores my interest in colour and wildflowers."
